Privacy policy
Last updated: 28 May 2026 · Draft pending final legal review.
This privacy notice explains how ITAnalytics Ltd ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, stores and protects personal data when you interact with us — whether through our website, by email, by phone, or under a contract for services. It is written to satisfy the UK General Data Protection Regulation ("UK GDPR") and the Data Protection Act 2018.
1. Who we are (data controller)
ITAnalytics Ltd, a company registered in Scotland with its registered office at 1/2 2 Glen Lane, Paisley PA3 2HU, United Kingdom, is the data controller responsible for any personal data we hold about you.
For data-protection enquiries please contact info@itanalytics.uk.
2. What personal data we collect
- Identity and contact data: name, employer, job title, work email address, work telephone number.
- Commercial data: contract details, billing contact, purchase orders, payment references.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type and version, device type, and pages visited — collected through standard server logs when you use this website.
- Communications: the content of emails, meeting notes and other correspondence relating to current or prospective engagements.
3. Lawful basis for processing
- Contract — where processing is necessary to perform a services contract with you or your employer.
- Legitimate interests — for routine business communications, prospect outreach and the security of our systems.
- Legal obligation — for retention of accounting records and statutory disclosures.
- Consent — where required, for example for marketing emails; you may withdraw consent at any time.
4. How long we keep your data
Engagement records and correspondence are retained for the duration of the contract and for a maximum of seven years thereafter, in line with HMRC accounting record obligations. Prospect and enquiry data is retained for up to two years from the last meaningful interaction unless you ask us to erase it sooner.
5. Sharing your data
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with:
- Service providers that help us operate the business — for example our email host, our accounting platform, and our payment provider Mollie B.V. (Netherlands) for online card payments.
- Professional advisors (accountants, lawyers) when required.
- Public authorities where we are legally required to do so.
6. International transfers
Some of our service providers are based in the European Economic Area, the United States or other countries. Where personal data is transferred outside the United Kingdom we rely on adequacy decisions, the UK International Data Transfer Agreement, or Standard Contractual Clauses with appropriate supplementary measures.
7. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to: be informed; access your data; have inaccurate data corrected; have your data erased in certain circumstances; restrict processing; portability; and to object to processing based on legitimate interests or for direct marketing.
To exercise any of these rights please contact info@itanalytics.uk. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
8. Cookies
This website does not set any non-essential cookies. We do not run third-party analytics or advertising trackers. Where strictly necessary cookies are used in future (for example, to remember a consent choice), they will be set only with your consent.
9. Changes to this notice
We may update this notice from time to time. The date at the top of the page indicates when it was last revised.
